Why we started Fred
We wilden gewoon een goed haarproduct maken voor mannen. Geen plakkerige gel of vettige wax, maar iets dat je haar volume geeft zonder troep. Maar al snel ontdekten we iets groters: bijna alle standaard haar- en cosmeticaproducten zitten vol palmolie – en dat zorgt wereldwijd voor ontbossing. Daar hadden we dus geen zin in. Zo ontstonden Salty Fred en Dusty Fred: simpel, effectief en met zo min mogelijk onnodige ingrediënten. Inmiddels werken we met navulverpakkingen, bouwen we aan nog natuurlijkere formules én zoeken we continu naar manieren om minder plastic en CO₂ te gebruiken. We zijn niet perfect, maar we zijn wél onderweg. En als jij voor Fred kiest, kies je voor goed haar én minder palmolie. De missie is begonnen, doe je mee? 🌿💛
